Dr. Anthony LaPorte is a family and cosmetic dentist in Bloomingdale, Illinois, who provides personalized dental care with an emphasis on patient comfort, clear communication, and long-term oral health. His advanced training includes restorative dentistry, same-day CEREC restorations, oral surgery, orthodontics, root canal treatment, and facial aesthetic procedures.

Background and Education

A second-generation Italian American, Dr. LaPorte was born and raised in Itasca, Illinois. From a young age, he knew he wanted to become a doctor, but an unexpected experience during a miniature-golf outing helped him choose dentistry. After accidentally knocking out a friend’s front tooth, he became interested in helping people restore their smiles. He still enjoys sharing the full story with patients.

Dr. LaPorte attended Lake Park High School in Roselle. He earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences and chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2008.

He continued his education at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012.

Outside the Office

When he is not caring for patients, Dr. LaPorte enjoys staying active through hockey, martial arts, weightlifting, and other sports.
